Have you sent round leaflets through all local doors? Contacted local vets/shelters? It was neighbours whose information got mine back when they went missing, and not near neighbours either.
Someone else in my street has a wandering cat who turned up several streets away after a couple of weeks when the people sheltering him finally got him checked for a chip.
I've done the leaflets drop plus facebook and twitter, no response. Will just have to wait and see, its not knowing how he is, is the most worrying thing.
I know. When my Beano went missing one new year, I was agonising over whether he was locked in someone's shed, starving and dehydrated, or lying injured in someone's garden. Was I selfish to wish him alive and suffering?
He was in a house backing on to a neighbour's for four days hiding behind their sofa but obviously coming out to eat and drink when they were not there. They only found them when they came home to an unpleasant little gift...
