Thank goodness, we have had rain over the last few days and washed the haze from the Port Macquarie fires out to sea. I am still coughing and wheezing from this Asthma but not as bad as I was last week.

I headed off to the doctors on Monday as the last few days I have woken up wheezing. First thing he said was I hadn't been to the doctors in 2 years so am I going to other doctors, no I only go when I'm sick. He looks at screen and says you don't get sick very often.

 I am 67 years old and apparently at my age I should be having more regular visits. I'm a life long non-smoker and never did recreational drugs. I only need to take Codral if I get the sniffles and panamax if I do too much in the garden.

Finally he checked out my lungs and said I have Asthma and remarked there was a high pollen alert on for asthmatics. The last time I had it was when I moved up the coast from Sydney 24 years ago but I did have bronchitis when I was a kid.So i'm now on a puffer and hay fever tabs.

Remembered when I got home that I have had small operations on my skin cancer at the skin cancer clinic.
